Cloud Network Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Network Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will design, implement and maintain network architectures on both AWS and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring stability, security and cost‑efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud network architectures on AWS and GCP.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents and optimise configurations.
• Configure virtual private clouds, subnets, security groups and related cloud resources.
• Implement and maintain network security controls for cloud environments.
• Automate network provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering and DevOps teams for seamless integration.
• Conduct regular audits, cost‑optimisation and performance reviews.
• Stay current with emerging cloud networking technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of network administration experience with a focus on cloud networking.
• Relevant AWS and GCP certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer).

Required skills

• AWS and Google Cloud Platform networking.
• Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), subnets, security groups.
• Network protocols: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash.
• Multi‑cloud environment management.
• Knowledge of Azure (optional) and Kubernetes.
• Network monitoring and management tools.
