Electrical & Electronic Architecture Engineer

About the role

The Electrical & Electronic Architecture Engineer will design and deliver architecture solutions for specific vehicle platforms and top‑hat projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the electrical architecture meets program requirements and integrates smoothly with vehicle systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse platform and program application needs and provide optimized architecture and power‑distribution solutions using existing archetype portfolios.
• Identify gaps not covered by archetypes and propose new solutions.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Architecture, Power Distribution and Wiring teams to address integration constraints.
• Coordinate deliverable timing with project leaders and ensure on‑time, high‑quality outputs.
• Create specific topologies and schematics for applications and support the Schematics Design team in developing mechanizations (SDPs).
• Provide SDPs/SEDs and generate core architecture requirements for component sourcing.
• Support Energy Management by collecting component current consumption for energy calculations and simulations.
• Adjust fuse sizes based on unique power‑distribution configurations and conduct impact and feasibility analyses.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of industry experience in EE architecture design or electrical engineering architecture roles.
• Proven experience defining and designing embedded networked computer systems, including system topologies, components, and interfaces.
