English‑Speaking Buyer – Procurement & Purchasing

About the role

METRACO is seeking an English‑speaking Buyer to strengthen its procurement function. You will be responsible for sourcing high‑quality products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and spare parts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts and pro‑formas, and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
• Process purchase orders in the ERP system, track execution, and generate regular reporting.
• Analyse supplier offers, compare products, and uncover sourcing opportunities.
• Review supplier samples, conduct testing, and produce inspection reports.
• Maintain product data, artwork, labels, translations, codes, technical sheets and catalogs.
• Create items, barcodes and serial numbers within the ERP environment.
• Coordinate with designers, after‑sales, import, logistics, e‑commerce and other internal teams.
• Drive process improvements by refining workflows, databases, templates, checklists and guidelines.
• Ensure correct use of purchasing tools and compliance with international trade procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in International Trade or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and international trade.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong analytical mindset, rigor, initiative and team spirit.
• Immediate availability is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in product data management and barcode creation.
