Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager will lead the overall facilities management operations for a portfolio of residential communities, villas, malls and common areas. This role ensures efficient maintenance, service excellence, regulatory compliance and cost‑effective operations while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day facilities operations and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programmes across all assets.
• Oversee MEP, civil, landscaping, cleaning, security and specialised services, conducting regular inspections to verify performance and compliance.
• Lead contractor and vendor management, including AMC contracts, SLA monitoring, invoice verification and mobilisation/demobilisation processes.
• Ensure full compliance with Moroccan authority regulations, fire‑safety inspections, HSE policies and maintain valid permits, licences and insurance.
• Prepare and control the annual facilities budget, monitor expenses, approve purchase orders and drive cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Coordinate tenant complaints, fit‑out approvals, handover inspections and liaise with homeowners’ associations and internal departments.
• Produce monthly operational reports, track contractor KPIs and maintain accurate asset registers and maintenance records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management within a multi‑property environment.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan regulatory requirements (Protection Civile, ONEE, local utilities, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, vendors and large‑scale maintenance programmes.
• Solid budgeting, cost‑control and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination with tenants, syndics and internal teams.
