Financial Controller

About the role

You will support internal management decision‑making by producing business performance analysis and delivering economic information through accounting methods. The role involves establishing management and execution plans and providing financial support to maximise business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regular reports on management activity plans (sales, marketing spend, profit) and address management issues.
• Participate in monthly and yearly closing, forecast and target planning.
• Provide profit variance analysis by division, product and country.
• Establish and manage budget plans for expenses and investments.
• Conduct cost accounting and profitability analysis by product or business unit.
• Review financial statements and ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Strong financial analysis and management reporting capability.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, financial modelling).
• Solid understanding of financial statements, cost allocation and account reconciliation.
