Functional Safety Designer

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is seeking a Functional Safety Designer to join its engineering teams supporting automotive, railway, R&D, IT and telecommunications projects. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining functional safety requirements and ensuring the robustness of electronic system architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design functional requirements that meet stakeholder expectations using ENOVIA.
• Develop functional architecture models with CATIA.
• Manage product diversity and ensure consistency of requirements across variants.
• Address queries from deliverable consumers to guarantee system compatibility and compliance.
• Lead technical review meetings and conduct root‑cause analysis of PLM‑reported issues.
• Propose functional solutions, write technical notes, and generate Technical Function Design (TFD) documentation.
• Review and validate upstream requirements based on specifications.
• Prepare clear technical review reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in electronic or embedded systems engineering.
• Strong experience in functional safety and system design.
• Proven leadership ability to guide teams and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with solid decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• Functional requirements design using ENOVIA.
• Functional architecture design with CATIA.
• Product diversity management and requirements consistency.
• Technical analysis and root‑cause investigation in PLM environments.
• Creation of Technical Function Design (TFD) documentation.
