General Accountant

About the role

Onclusive is seeking a General Accountant to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves managing month‑end close, tax filings, audits, intercompany transactions, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including monthly and annual closing entries, accruals, pre‑payments, deferred income, and bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure tax compliance in all relevant jurisdictions, prepare tax returns and optimise tax processes.
• Prepare and coordinate external and internal audits, maintaining robust financial controls.
• Supervise intercompany transactions, perform reconciliations and resolve related discrepancies.
• Analyse and resolve intercompany issues across Group entities in an international context.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management with a focus on transparency and accuracy.
• Participate in process optimisation initiatives, leveraging automation and IT tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within an international company.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP or equivalents).
• Proven expertise in tax management, auditing and intercompany transaction handling.
• Proficiency with ERP software.
• Fluent in English and French with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
