Head of Legal

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Head of Legal to lead its legal function across a fast‑growing global fintech business. You will provide strategic counsel on complex regulatory, compliance and commercial matters while ensuring the company’s rapid expansion remains protected and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on compliance and legal issues related to the structuring of new and existing financial products.
• Negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including third‑party, operations, services and marketing contracts.
• Interpret and monitor regulatory changes, proactively handling developments and advising internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with specialist external counsel on new products, market expansion, privacy and security matters.
• Develop and implement efficient contract negotiation processes and maintain form agreements, contract management systems and related databases.
• Serve as lead counsel on strategic deals, resolve issues in existing commercial relationships, and manage pre‑litigation disputes.
• Drive ongoing compliance review processes, including filings, policies and procedures.
• Provide timely support on a variety of legal inquiries.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in law or LLM in business, financial or international law.
• 10+ years of experience advising financial services firms or working in a leading law firm.
• Active qualification to practice law in Morocco or extensive experience advising under Moroccan law.
• Deep knowledge of the local regulatory landscape as it applies to digital banks.
