HIL Engineer for Body/Brain

About the role

We are looking for a HIL Engineer specialized in Body and Brain ECUs to join our automotive engineering team. You will work on the development, configuration and maintenance of hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) environments supporting Stellantis projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain HIL environments for Brain ECUs, including I/O channel setup and simulation modeling.
• Create and manage rest‑of‑bus (SoftECU) simulations and configure component and subsystem HIL simulators.
• Develop and verify HIL setups to reproduce anomalies and support troubleshooting activities.
• Provide technical and methodological support to cross‑functional Stellantis teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Embedded Systems, Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in HIL engineering.
• Strong team‑oriented mindset and good written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Body vehicle features is a plus.

Required skills

• HIL simulation environments.
• MATLAB/Simulink (dSPACE toolchain is a plus).
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
• Embedded systems development.
