Hostess – Guest Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Hostess to greet and seat guests at our Marriott hotel in Fes. The role involves ensuring a welcoming dining experience by managing seating, maintaining clean settings, and supporting guests throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and seat them at clean, available tables.
• Pull out chairs, place current menus, and ensure each guest has a napkin and proper silverware.
• Guide guests through the dining area and assist with special seating needs.
• Arrange and move tables, chairs, and settings to accommodate groups and maintain flow.
• Verify menus are up‑to‑date, clean, and wrinkle‑free.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor the dining room for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies and report any incidents.
• Answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette and provide courteous assistance.
• Support team members, develop positive working relationships, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
