Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and public areas at our Marriott hotel in Fes. The role involves ensuring rooms are clean, well‑stocked, and ready for guests while adhering to safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests and transport supply carts to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms following access procedures, replace amenities, linens, and terry, make beds, and fold terry.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen, and room‑service items, and ensure all appliances are present and functional.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings; straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor‑care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report maintenance problems, and store flammable materials properly.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance, and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Assist guests, including those with disabilities, using clear and professional language.
• Lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance; push and pull loaded carts on uneven surfaces.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• No prior housekeeping or related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
