Lead Buyer

About the role

The Lead Buyer will manage and optimise Non‑Trade (Indirect) procurement activities across North Africa, ensuring effective sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation and category management to support CEVA Logistics' business objectives and cost‑optimisation targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement local procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Conduct needs analysis and identify cost‑optimization opportunities for assigned categories.
• Lead tendering, supplier selection and contract negotiations to secure favourable commercial terms.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and ensure compliance with global agreements.
• Act as primary liaison between procurement and internal stakeholders, promoting best practices and a procurement‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, purchasing, law, business administration, engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, supplier negotiation and contract management within a multi‑site, international environment.
• Previous exposure to transport, logistics or industrial sectors is a plus.
