Maintenance Technician (Wipers Activity)

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Wipers Activity) to ensure the performance, reliability and safety of its production equipment. You will support daily operations, contribute to the industrialization of new equipment and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture, detect deviations, lead Safety QRQC and ensure compliance with Valeo and local standards.
• Develop technical expertise within the team, support skill transfer and foster a stable work environment.
• Assist engineers during new equipment introduction, applying VSDP and IPROM standards and providing feedback to design.
• Manage maintenance activities to reduce MTTR, increase MTBF, contribute to the maintenance budget and deploy ERIM/TPM practices.
• Identify micro‑stoppages, lead improvement proposals, conduct PDCA, FTA and 5 WHY analyses, and support Kaizen initiatives.
