Material Planner

About the role

As a Material Planner at Versigent, you will ensure that raw materials and components are available at the right time and in the required quality to support production. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams and logistics to keep inventory balanced and avoid shortages or excess stock.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supplier anomalies and communicate issues promptly.
• Analyze raw‑material and component requirements and generate weekly procurement programs.
• Review work‑in‑progress (WIP) stock levels each week, identifying overstock, shortages or negative balances.
• Detect and track production or engineering anomalies that cause stock gaps.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and procedural standards.
• Transfer anomaly cases to Key Users via the ID Tool.
• Clear orders weekly to prevent overstocking and verify receipt of goods in the store.
• Manage obsolete references and coordinate sales to other Aptiv factories.
• Evaluate supplier service quality and keep monitoring tables and the QVC Wall up‑to‑date.
• Follow up on critical components and monitor transport of goods from pickup to arrival.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving, adaptability and teamwork abilities.
• Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken).
