Material Planner – Manufacturing Supply Chain

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Material Planner to join its Casablanca site. The role focuses on ensuring the right raw materials are available at the right time to support production schedules and meet customer delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, analyse, and confirm customer sales orders.
• Purchase goods, materials, and services while meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Manage raw‑material orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory, prepare yearly inventory plans, and track aged stock.
• Prepare purchase orders and order schedules.
• Research new components and suppliers, assess performance, and ensure contract compliance.
• Develop weekly, monthly, and yearly production schedules aligned with supply‑chain constraints.
• Maintain accurate MRP data and parameters.
• Collaborate with SCM on new project introductions and related material tasks.
• Continuously revise supply‑chain procedures and work instructions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Supply Chain, Industry, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft AX is a plus.
• Critical thinking, negotiation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.
