Mécanicien Maintenance Fixe Junior

About the role

The company is seeking a Junior Fixed Maintenance Mechanic to join its mining team at the Zgounder silver mine in Morocco. The role involves ensuring the reliability of mechanical equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs.
• Participate in the installation of new machinery.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to the established schedule.
• Replace various types of wear parts and coatings.
• Repair and glue conveyor belts and align base equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in mining, cement or steel plants.
• Ability to work on a 23‑day on‑site rotation followed by 7 days off.
• Willingness to live on‑site with accommodation and meals provided.

Required skills

• Intermediate fault diagnosis on mechanical equipment.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Coating replacement and belt repair.
• Alignment of base machinery.
• Knowledge of ball mills, gyratory and jaw crushers, conveyors, pumps, screens, cyclones and Falcon separators.
