MTL Country Safety Head

About the role

The MTL Country Safety Head will lead Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities across Morocco, Tunisia and Libya. Reporting to the Regional Medical Safety Head, this senior position ensures compliance with local regulations, drives inspection readiness and supports the safety of assigned products.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the face of the Patient Safety & PV organization in the three countries.
• Ensure all PV activities comply with local PV requirements and PVA standards.
• Maintain inspection readiness and serve as the local Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) where applicable.
• Build and sustain relationships with key PSPV stakeholders, in‑country functions and external partners.
• Oversee outsourced PV activities and ensure partner compliance.
• Manage local PV resources, budget and collaboration with global support functions.
• Operate as Local Safety Officer, managing medical safety of assigned products.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on pharmacovigilance experience.
• Pharmacist qualification with competencies in epidemiology and biostatistics.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French.
• Strong leadership, networking and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
