Mule Wiring Engineer – Prototype Harness Design

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is seeking a Mule Wiring Engineer to manage prototype wiring harness activities for automotive projects. You will work closely with engineering and supplier teams to design, build, and validate prototype harnesses, ensuring compliance with electrical system architectures and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Execute prototype mule wiring tasks, from architecture analysis to harness construction.
• Design and release prototype wiring harnesses, creating detailed Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Identify and support procurement of long‑lead components and manage sample requests.
• Generate and maintain in‑lines, eyelets, and iSpeed population data for mule builds.
• Collaborate with Prototype Build Engineering, designers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure Teamcenter task completion.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and change impact assessments.
• Provide on‑site troubleshooting at Chrysler Technical Center build shops and deliver Make‑On‑Vehicle (MOV) instructions.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and support lessons‑learned activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with automotive harness design software.
• Strong analytical abilities, rigor, and autonomy.
• Effective communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Fluent English.
