Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will lead a team responsible for express and domestic logistics, ensuring smooth workflow, safety, and compliance with company standards. This role combines people management, process optimisation, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee, motivate and develop a team of operations personnel, providing coaching, mentorship and performance reviews.
• Ensure safe work practices and adherence to company policies.
• Manage team schedules, staffing levels and company vehicle utilisation.
• Track and optimise delivery routes, and oversee cash handling and COD transactions.
• Facilitate clear internal and external communication and collaborate with other departments.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse data, identify risks and implement efficiency‑boosting strategies.
• Prepare and maintain performance reports and ensure timely response to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Enforce operational standards, manage resources (personnel, equipment, technology) and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an operations environment.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams and enforce operational standards.
• Demonstrated leadership behaviours such as building outstanding teams, setting clear direction, simplifying processes, and driving execution.
