Outlet Manager - Rabat Marriott Hotel

About the role

The Outlet Manager at the Rabat Marriott Hotel oversees the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, bar and room service outlets. The role covers areas of responsibility such as restaurants, bars and room service, and aims to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage employees, covering day-to-day operations and stepping in for colleagues in their absence.
• Maintain service and sanitation standards in the restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas, and ensure compliance with food handling, liquor laws and applicable regulations.
• Review staffing levels to meet guest service, operational and financial needs.
• Lead the food and beverage team, coach and mentor staff, set goals and priorities, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handle guest complaints, gather feedback and ensure corrective action is taken.
• Manage human resources activities, including performance standards, training, fair treatment and employee feedback.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the department, including purchasing and invoice payments, and supervise shifts in the absence of the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
• Assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or a related field.
• Or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related major, with 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or a related field.
