Painter – Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join the maintenance team at the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality paint, stain and finish work on walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, primers and sealers using brushes, rollers or spray guns.
• Prepare new surfaces and remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire‑brushing or abrasive blasting.
• Cover and protect surfaces during work and post appropriate signage.
• Clean, store and maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to adjust colors or finishes as needed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
• Assist guests courteously and maintain a professional appearance while on duty.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to painting or finishing.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant painting or surface‑preparation experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders and working at heights.
• No supervisory experience required; no specific license or certification needed.

Required skills

• Paint application using brushes, rollers and spray guns.
• Surface preparation techniques including sanding, stripping and abrasive blasting.
• Use of ladders and basic hand tools for finishing work.
