Physics & Mathematics Teacher (UK Curriculum)

About the role

We are seeking a Physics and Mathematics Teacher to deliver the UK curriculum at Khalil Gibran School Rabat, starting August 2026. The role involves teaching students from various abilities in a supportive, progressive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Physics and Mathematics lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
• Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that motivates learners of all abilities.
• Assess, record and report student progress according to school policy.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management, discipline and safeguarding.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, moderation and planning.
• Communicate regularly with parents about academic progress and well‑being.
• Support school events, extracurricular activities and pastoral duties as required.
• Participate in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice.

Required profile

• Relevant degree and PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent in the subject area.
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching the British curriculum.
• Proven experience teaching Physics up to GCSE and A‑Level.
• Confidence using IT and educational technologies in the classroom.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with educational platforms or learning apps is preferred.
