About the role

Inspired Education’s Khalil Gibran School in Rabat is seeking a Primary Mathematics Teacher to deliver the English National Curriculum to students from Early Years through Primary. The role involves planning engaging lessons, assessing progress, and contributing to the school’s vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring, differentiated mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Assess student learning regularly, provide targeted feedback, and support progress both in class and at home.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages risk‑taking, collaboration, and mutual respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and engage in continuous professional development.
• Participate in the co‑curricular programme, leading clubs or school initiatives.
• Maintain constructive communication with parents to support each child’s individual development.

Required profile

• Passion for education and ability to motivate young learners.
• Proven record of personal, academic and professional achievement.
• Deep subject knowledge and enthusiasm for mathematics.
• Experience assessing student progress and delivering feedback for external assessments.
• Experience providing pastoral care and promoting student wellbeing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with families.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent with strong academic credentials; postgraduate study is a plus.
• Energetic, flexible and resourceful approach in a dynamic school environment.
