Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, supplier management and inventory optimisation for a partner in the retail and large‑scale distribution sector. The role is strategic, focusing on cost‑effective purchasing while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise purchasing costs and efficiency.
• Analyse market trends and supplier performance to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Ensure healthy inventory levels and product availability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Conduct cost analyses and benchmark procurement performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Implement risk‑management procedures related to supply chain and procurement.
• Supervise and support procurement team members.
• Work closely with legal and finance teams regarding contracts and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with procurement and inventory management systems.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
