Prototype Bill of Materials Lead

About the role

This position is part of project teams within Stellantis, operationally attached to the RML. The lead will be responsible for maintaining and updating the manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) for prototype and pre‑series parts, coordinating product and process changes, and ensuring smooth supply flow up to customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain the manufacturing BOM, assign change orders, and create BOMs for product changes.
• Schedule product and process changes within the component scope, facilitate meetings with partners, final plants, and the Hérimoncourt site, and manage start‑up of mass production without disruption.
• Allocate resources at the industrial site, ensure completeness of pre‑series resource specifications, conduct feasibility analyses, issue manufacturing orders, and monitor production and shipment.
• Track purchase requests and contracts, send schedules to suppliers, and ensure delivery of prototype and pre‑series parts according to requirements.
• Manage subcontracting activities, ensure compliance with deliverables and processes.
• Contribute to budget compliance, handle reliability anomalies, and support analysis of start‑up expenses.

Required profile

• Experience handling officialisation anomalies and coordinating with PCOP (Operational Planning & Configuration for Powertrain Projects).
• Ability to facilitate scheduling meetings with internal and external partners, including final plants.
• Strong analytical skills for resource feasibility and deadline management.
• Capability to monitor production, shipment, and supply chain activities.
• Knowledge of subcontractor management and budget compliance processes.
