Python Developer - AI & RAG

About the role

A Casablanca‑based office is seeking a practical, hands‑on Python Developer to build and maintain conversational chat‑bots and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, as well as to integrate specific AI solutions. The focus is on implementation and integration rather than theoretical AI research, requiring clean code, system connectivity, and technical mentorship for the existing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend logic for RAG‑based chat‑bots and AI features using Python.
• Orchestrate connections between APIs, large language models, and data sources with frameworks such as Semantic Kernel.
• Deploy, manage, and optimise AI models and services within the Azure AI ecosystem.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior and mid‑level developers.
• Ensure reliability, speed, and scalability of chatbot integrations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Strong production‑grade Python skills and experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Hands‑on experience with orchestration frameworks like Semantic Kernel, LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Familiarity with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search) is a plus.
• Experience with vector databases or search engines used in RAG pipelines is advantageous.
