Quality Assurance Manager – Aviation

About the role

The airline seeks a senior professional to lead its Quality Assurance function across flight operations, ground operations, training, and engineering maintenance. The role ensures all activities comply with civil aviation authority regulations, manufacturer manuals, and airline policies, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and human factors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance team, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory standards, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Verify that all company operations, policies, and procedures meet the conditions of the Air Operator Certificate under the supervision of the relevant Nominated Post Holder.
• Establish and maintain the Quality Assurance Programme in line with applicable regulations and approved manuals.
• Plan, execute, and monitor the annual audit plan, identify non‑conformities, and drive corrective actions.
• Provide the Accountable Manager with independent assessments of audit results and quality‑related advice.
• Maintain effective relationships with the civil aviation authority, regulatory bodies, Airbus, OEMs, suppliers, and airline customers.
• Develop and enforce QA policies, procedures, and manuals based on regulatory inputs and departmental recommendations.
• Promote a corporate culture where quality and safety are top priorities.
• Collaborate with Safety and Security managers to address and resolve related concerns.

Required profile

• Nomination by the airline and acceptance by the civil aviation authority as a “Post Holder”.
• Extensive experience in aviation quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage audit programmes.
• Strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations, AOC requirements, and manufacturer manuals.
