Quality Control Factory Inspector

About the role

As a Quality Control Factory Inspector you will be the primary guardian of Suitsupply’s garment standards on the production floor. Embedded permanently in a factory, you will conduct final random inspections on finished styles to ensure every piece meets the brand’s exacting quality criteria before shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform final random inspections (Stage 5) using AQL sampling plans and Suitsupply inspection criteria.
• Compare garments against approved pre‑production samples, tech packs and workmanship standards.
• Document defects (critical, major, minor) with photos and classify them accurately.
• Review in‑line QC reports (Stage 4) to identify early risks and communicate findings to factory management.
• Submit detailed inspection reports to the regional QC Manager and contribute data for factory scorecards (Stage 7).
• Flag systemic quality issues, support corrective actions and assist in Phase 2 capability development.
• Participate in bulk fabric inspections and report issues such as colour shading.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in garment quality inspection, preferably in menswear, tailoring or shirts.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, common defect types and AQL standards.
• Ability to read and interpret tech packs and garment specifications.
• Fluent written and spoken English; local language proficiency relevant to the factory location.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
