Quality Engineer

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Casablanca manufacturing site. The role supports the plant’s quality management system, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with customer and industry specifications for advanced composite materials.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations, quality projects and statistical data analysis to support customer and business initiatives.
• Lead or contribute to continuous‑improvement and site‑specific quality projects.
• Support quality system and process reviews, ensuring the plant QMS is robust and improvement opportunities are addressed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Hexcel software systems (AX2012, Pilgrim, Velocity) for customer specifications and internal documentation.
• Champion ancillary tasks such as 5S, LEAN, and other continuous‑improvement activities.
• Analyze technical requirements of contracts, drawings and specifications to develop product‑quality plans.
• Create and maintain quality documentation required by customers or internal systems.
• Conduct internal and external audits as needed.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting ability with mechanical equipment.
• Strong technical analysis and statistical analysis skills.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
