Quality Engineer

About the role

Hexcel, a global leader in advanced lightweight composite materials, is looking for a Quality Engineer to join its Casablanca, Morocco manufacturing site. The role supports customer and business initiatives through quality investigations, data analysis, and continuous‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations, quality projects and statistical analyses to drive product and process improvements.
• Lead or contribute to site‑specific continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S and Lean.
• Support and review the plant Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure robustness and address improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Hexcel software tools (AX2012, Pilgrim, Velocity) for customer specifications and internal documentation.
• Analyze technical requirements from contracts, drawings and specifications to develop quality plans.
• Create and maintain required quality documentation for customers and internal systems.
• Perform internal and external audits as needed.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality department.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting ability with mechanical equipment.
• Strong technical analysis and data‑driven problem‑solving skills.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.

Required skills

• Statistical and data analysis.

• Measurement and inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Experience with AX2012, Pilgrim and Velocity systems.
