Senior COBOL Microfocus Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior COBOL Microfocus Developer to join a multinational logistics leader. The role is fully remote and requires collaboration with teams across US Eastern and Manila time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance COBOL applications using Microfocus tools.
• Enhance and support logistics and warehouse management system (WMS) functionalities.
• Perform code analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams via JIRA and GitLab, attending regular meetings across time zones.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience in Microfocus COBOL development.
• Strong background in logistics or WMS environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Willingness to overlap work hours with US Eastern and Manila teams.
