About the role
SITA is seeking a quota‑carrying Senior Sales Executive to own and grow the maritime revenue stream. You will hunt, win and close new business across shipping, cruise lines, ports and related technology partners, driving adoption of the SmartSea portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Own the top‑of‑funnel for maritime clients, building a high‑velocity pipeline with clear conversion targets.
- Lead full‑cycle sales engagements from first contact to signed contract, delivering new‑business ACV.
- Apply Challenger sales methodology to challenge client assumptions and create urgency.
- Act as a trusted advisor, co‑creating solutions that match client operational maturity and transformation goals.
- Sell SmartSea offerings such as biometric identity, onboard connectivity, fleet performance, IT infrastructure, ITSM and cybersecurity, partnering with solution architects to accelerate deal velocity.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience closing complex B2B deals in maritime, shipping, cargo, cruise, oil & gas or adjacent tech sectors.
- Proven use of Challenger or consultative selling approaches.
- Deep knowledge of European or MEA maritime markets, regulatory frameworks and port operations.
- Strong network with port authorities, cruise lines and maritime technology vendors.
- Revenue‑driven mindset with a focus on deal velocity and ACV growth.
