Senior Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

The Senior Reconciliation Specialist will lead reconciliation activities within the Operations department of a fast‑paced fintech organization. The role demands deep knowledge of digital payments, e‑money, and banking systems, as well as strong compliance expertise in KYC, AML and PCI‑DSS.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations between the Mobile Wallet Platform, custodian bank and third‑party service providers to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee pre‑funding, settlement and adjustment processes for third‑party providers.
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in settlement and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain KYC, AML and PCI‑DSS compliance throughout settlement processes.
• Monitor transaction flows, detect risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with banking partners, payment processors and other stakeholders to resolve settlement challenges.
• Generate detailed reports on settlement and reconciliation activities for transparency.
• Continuously improve procedures to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting digital payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in settlement or reconciliation, preferably in fintech, banking or digital payments.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML and PCI‑DSS compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical abilities and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑moving team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with settlement and reconciliation software or tools.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, e‑wallets and other digital payment solutions.
