Senior Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

The Senior Reconciliation Specialist will execute reconciliations within the operations department of a fast‑paced fintech environment. The role requires deep knowledge of digital payments, e‑money, banking systems and compliance frameworks such as KYC, AML and PCI‑DSS, combined with strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations between the Mobile Wallet Platform, custodian bank and third‑party service providers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Oversee pre‑funding, settlement and adjustment processes for third‑party providers, maintaining financial integrity.
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in settlement and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with KYC, AML and PCI‑DSS requirements throughout settlement and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor transaction flows, detect potential risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with banking partners, payment processors and other stakeholders to resolve settlement‑related challenges.
• Generate detailed reports on settlement and reconciliation activities, ensuring transparency and traceability.
• Continuously improve procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting digital payments, e‑money and banking operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a settlement and/or reconciliation role, preferably within fintech, banking, digital payments or e‑money.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML and PCI‑DSS compliance requirements.
• Expertise in digital payments, e‑money and banking operations.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
