Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Production Engineer

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer / Production Engineer you will own the reliability, availability, security and operational excellence of critical platforms running in a hybrid cloud environment. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security and program teams to ensure systems are robust, secure and deliver continuous value with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high service availability and business continuity using SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Design, operate and continuously improve resilient hybrid‑cloud architectures.
• Own end‑to‑end production incident management, lead major incidents and define on‑call rotations.
• Conduct post‑incident reviews, track remediation actions and enforce release gating when risk is unacceptable.
• Build effective monitoring, alerting and capacity‑planning processes.
• Automate operational tasks through Infrastructure as Code, runbooks and self‑healing mechanisms.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for critical applications and optimise deployment strategies (rolling, blue/green, canary).
• Contribute to infrastructure stability across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Support technology transformation projects, ensuring reliable go‑lives.
• Execute security recommendations, manage patching and remediate vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production reliability or operations engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams and handling on‑call duties.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Clear communication skills for incident coordination and postmortems.
