Sleep/Wake-up Engineer – Electrical Devices & Networks

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Sleep/Wake‑up Engineer to lead the definition and implementation of power‑supply strategies for vehicle controllers. The role focuses on minimizing 12 V energy consumption by managing wake‑up and sleep modes across electronic control units (ECUs) in modern automotive networks.

Key responsibilities

• Gather functional requirements impacting wake‑up and sleep behavior of ECUs.
• Define network‑grouping strategies to enable partial wake‑up.
• Specify power‑supply management requirements for all ECUs within the technical perimeter.
• Request creation of necessary signals to apply the SWEDEN strategy.
• Write specifications, coordinate proofreading with component owners, and ensure alignment with implementation.
• Collaborate with validation teams to develop test plans and support issue analysis.

Required profile

• Electrical/Electronic Engineer degree.
• 5–10 years of automotive experience in network management or power distribution.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical/electronic architectures and development processes.
• Fluent in English; additional European language is a plus.
