Software Tester – Embedded Systems

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is looking for a Software Tester to join its engineering projects in the automotive, railway, IT and telecommunications sectors. You will work on validating embedded software using both manual and automated test techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute black‑box test cases to verify software functionality against requirements.
• Develop and maintain C++ test scripts for automation within Visual Studio.
• Perform model‑based testing using TPT, creating and running test cases for Simulink models.
• Analyze system behavior using Matlab/Simulink models to ensure correct operation.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, tracking them through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and improve test coverage.
• Maintain traceability between test cases and system requirements.
• Document test strategies, test cases, and results, contributing to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in electronic or embedded systems engineering.
• Experience in software testing and validation, especially black‑box testing.
• Ability to work autonomously with rigor and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
