Trade Product Analyst (Assistant Vice President)

About the role

Citi is seeking a Trade Product Analyst at the Assistant Vice President level to lead product strategy across North Africa and the Levant. You will manage a portfolio of core trade, supply‑chain finance and working‑capital loan products, ensuring they meet dynamic market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product strategy for core trade, supply‑chain finance and working‑capital loan pillars in the assigned markets.
• Identify market opportunities, emerging trends and client needs, and adapt product offerings accordingly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Risk teams to launch new products or enhance existing ones.
• Maintain product documentation, capability grids, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Act as subject‑matter expert, providing guidance and training to sales teams and representing the product in client meetings.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of relevant experience in banking, trade finance or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of industry, competitor products and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple business cycles and functional areas.
