2PL Traffic Supervisor – Logistics Management

About the role

The 2PL Traffic Supervisor ensures the efficient transportation of goods across Morocco, aligning operations with customer requirements, profitability targets, and regulatory compliance. The role balances operational execution with team leadership to meet timeliness, cost, and quality commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 2PL traffic activities, ensuring adherence to internal processes and legal documentation for trips within Morocco.
• Oversee a portfolio of dedicated carriers, allocate them to the team, and verify transport approvals, registrations, insurance, and technical inspections.
• Coordinate the movement of trailers from arrival ports to final destinations and ensure their timely return to embarkation ports.
• Communicate trip progress to internal and external stakeholders and enforce the company’s safety and security policies.
• Track financial indicators, achieve budgetary objectives, and validate cost items in agreement with management.
• Lead and develop an operational team of drivers, operators, and customs administrators, defining roles, setting objectives, and monitoring KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) in Logistics or Transport Management.
• At least 8 years of experience in Moroccan road transport, with prior management of truck‑driver teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan transport regulations; familiarity with European regulations is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer‑oriented communication skills.
• Fluent in French; English or Spanish is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Competence in using IT tools for logistics operations.
