Accountant – International BPO (GAAP/IFRS)

About the role

MyOutDesk is seeking a skilled Accountant to support its International Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations for US clients. You will manage financial records, ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS, and provide data‑driven insights to improve business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reconciliations, payroll, and regular reports.
• Analyze financial data and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to local and international accounting regulations (GAAP/IFRS).
• Collaborate with finance colleagues on budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist with audit preparation, tax filings, and compliance documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a BPO or international environment.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, remote team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
