Accounting Supervisor – Aerospace

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the set‑up of the accounting function for a new aerospace industrial entity in Morocco. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with finance teams across Europe, North America and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting activities and manage monthly and annual closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements, reconciliations and inventory‑related operations.
• Supervise accounts payable and support the Finance Analyst.
• Contribute to group financial reporting and coordinate with international finance teams.
• Participate in implementing and monitoring internal controls, including SOX compliance.
• Help design and implement finance processes for the new industrial entity.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial, aerospace or automotive environment.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards and practices.
• Fluent English with regular interaction with global finance teams.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related field.

Required skills

• Strong ERP expertise, ideally SAP.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Proficiency with Moroccan accounting standards.
