Accounts Payable Accountant Specialist

About the role

Join Lear Corporation as an Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant Specialist and play a key part in managing the company’s financial transactions. You will ensure accurate invoice processing, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support month‑end close activities while upholding compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices promptly and record all transactions accurately in the ERP system.
• Maintain vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries.
• Manage monthly close activities, prepare financial reports, and reconcile accounts.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOX requirements, and internal controls to mitigate fraud risk.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the AP function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt in a changing environment.
• Constructive thinker focused on continuous improvement.
• Quick learner comfortable with new systems and processes.
• Proficient English communication skills.
