Accounts Payable Specialist (Morocco)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Specialist to join our international finance team. Based in Morocco, you will manage end‑to‑end accounts payable processes for Amazic’s French entity and other foreign subsidiaries, ensuring accurate invoice processing, payments and month‑end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase and purchase‑order invoices for multiple entities.
• Prepare and execute payments, handle bank transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain and verify accruals, deferrals, pre‑payments and suspense/inter‑company accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure data integrity.
• Assist internal and external auditors, including compliance with J‑SOX requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast‑paced finance or administrative environment.
• Professional fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail, results‑driven and able to work independently.
• Calm under pressure with solid organisational abilities.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to support cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Exact Online, Salesforce or Odoo (any is a plus).
