AD Simulation Software Developer - Junior

About the role

The Software Organization of Stellantis is looking for AD Simulation Software Developers to join its Autonomous Driving software team. The role develops, integrates and deploys clean, highly scalable code for the SiL platform used to test and validate the autonomous driving stack, and builds solutions to orchestrate large-scale simulations on-premise and on cloud so that L2 and L3 products can be tested reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and deploy clean, highly scalable code for the SiL platform that tests and validates the autonomous driving stack.
• Develop solutions to orchestrate large-scale simulations on on-premise and on-cloud platforms.
• Ensure the reliability of future L2 and L3 autonomous driving products through testing covering billions of kilometers.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics or similar.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Fluent English (C1).
• Good communication, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• C++ and Python programming.
• Solid knowledge of common data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Linux and knowledge of Git/SVN or other versioning tools, including GitHub.
• Knowledge of ADAS/AD systems, components and features.
• Knowledge of OS virtualization such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN-FD, SOME/IP).
• Nice to have: simulation software for self-driving cars (Carla, Spectral, CarMaker, dSpace), MISRA and SPICE, AUTOSAR classic and adaptive, and MATLAB/Simulink.
