AD Test Strategy and Plan Engineer

About the role

Stellantis is looking for a Test Strategy and Plan Engineer to support L2-L3 automated driving test activities. The role sits in the Software Virtual V&V function, which builds a consistent test strategy for L2+/L3 features across the AD organization and its internal and external stakeholders. It is a hands-on position focused on planning and technical activities, with a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop validation and verification plans and ensure they are followed by the teams
• Enable verification and validation of highly automated driving functions in a virtual environment
• Work with software developers, test engineers, test execution teams and other test stakeholders
• Define verification and validation plans (procedures, timing and resources)
• Analyse requirements, develop and optimise test cases and test procedures
• Set up the validation environment and define its scope
• Analyse testing results and report them (PPT, Excel)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Physics, Controls, Electronics, Aerospace or an equivalent engineering degree
• At least 2 years of experience in test engineering and/or project management (the listing also asks for 3 to 5 years)
• Ability to contribute to Agile development teams and strong communication and teamwork skills
• English at C1 level (proficient)

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of verification and validation for highly automated driving
• Preferred: knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Driving features and their electronic architectures
• Preferred: working knowledge of program management tools (e.g. MS Project) and ALM tools (e.g. IBM Doors, Polarion, Codebeamer)
• Preferred: experience with system-level functional analysis, simulation techniques and Agile and Waterfall frameworks
