Advisor, Global Awards

About the role

The Advisor, Global Awards will provide strategic and operational award management support to Save the Children’s global teams. Working across humanitarian and development programmes, the role ensures award funds are used efficiently, compliantly and with high impact for children worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Offer expert advisory and coordination on award management to global functions and programme teams.
• Oversee the full award lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, disbursement and reporting.
• Maintain data quality, monitor compliance with donor and organisational requirements, and support performance reporting.
• Facilitate communication among implementing offices and ensure timely distribution of award resources.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of award management systems and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing complex, high‑risk funding or awards in an international non‑profit or development context.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, financial oversight and operational reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across time zones and travel up to 10% internationally.
