Aftermarket Cooperation Buyer

About the role

The Aftermarket Cooperation Buyer is responsible for managing sourcing activities, contract execution, and supplier performance for a defined set of aftermarket commodities. The role works closely with internal stakeholders—including Engineering, Program Teams, Supplier Quality, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, and Cost Engineers—to coordinate requests for quotations, contract negotiations, and ongoing supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage RFQ processes, recalls, and resource planning for aftermarket parts.
• Make supplier recommendations during Sourcing Table decision meetings.
• Lead the creation and execution of Purchase Agreements aligned with selected suppliers.
• Oversee contract execution covering long‑term agreements, quality, logistics, performance development, and capacity increases.
• Collaborate with aftermarket marketing, planning, quality, engineering, supply‑chain, and finance teams to improve profitability and ensure flawless builds.
• Identify and address troubled suppliers to mitigate potential shortages.
• Negotiate purchasing performance terms and monitor supplier compliance.
• Coordinate and prepare business reviews with suppliers and partners.
• Handle administrative tasks related to supplier contracts and performance tracking.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage sourcing, contract execution, and supplier performance.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
