Air & Ocean Inside Sales Professional

About the role

The Air & Ocean Inside Sales Professional drives revenue growth and improves customer satisfaction through proactive follow-ups, tailored solutions and fast responses. The role converts leads into customers, builds strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, and works closely with field sales, operations and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential customers and convert leads into active customers to meet revenue and profit targets.
• Generate new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, and conduct virtual meetings, phone calls and emails to promote products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Attend customer visits with field sales to strengthen relationships and understand needs.
• Collaborate with the sales team on follow-ups and with operations on order processing and offer feasibility, and coordinate with other functions on payments.
• Stay informed on sector trends, market conditions and competitors, and learn the company's products, services and value propositions.

Required profile

• Bac + 3 degree in Logistics and Transport, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as inside sales or customer service.
• Proven B2B sales, lead conversion and account management experience.
• Experience with freight forwarders, shipping lines and similar entities.
• Fluent French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to build trust, manage multiple clients and priorities, and understand international sea and air freight.
