Aircraft Mechanic (AH-64) – Morocco

About the role

The AH-64 Aircraft Mechanic (AM-2) is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on AH-64 helicopter systems in accordance with FAA and military standards. The role involves working on a full range of tactical aircraft components, ensuring operational readiness for deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, assembly, modification, and inspection of AH-64 aircraft and related systems.
• Install, connect, and adjust fuel, hydraulic, engine, transmission, and flight‑control systems.
• Conduct operational checks using external power sources and ground equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, disassemble to the point of failure, and repair or replace defective components.
• Direct lower‑graded mechanics and coordinate with other trades to ensure proper assembly sequence.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance forms, records, and documentation.
• Incorporate authorized modifications and ensure compliance with quality‑control procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of aviation maintenance experience on the AH‑64, preferably within the last five years.
• A&P or FCC license preferred but not mandatory.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain NAC‑I T1 Public Trust clearance.
• Valid passport and ability to meet medical/vaccination requirements for deployment to Morocco.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AH‑64 helicopter systems.
• Proficiency using hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, scales, and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, fuel, engine, transmission, and flight‑control systems.
• Ability to read, apply, and interpret technical data and maintenance manuals.
• Understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles related to aircraft.
• Familiarity with quality‑control, production, and supply‑chain procedures.
