Application Specialist – ERP & Integration

About the role

As an Application and Integration Specialist you will ensure stable, efficient and user‑friendly digital solutions that support IKEA’s business operations and growth. You will manage enterprise applications, improve ERP systems and develop integrations and automation to simplify work processes for co‑workers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, support and continuously improve ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics D365, Business Central, AX and NAV.
• Design, develop and maintain integrations between ERP and systems like POS, CRM, e‑commerce, HR and finance platforms.
• Build and support APIs, middleware and data pipelines to ensure real‑time, accurate data flow.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps or other platforms.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and system issues while providing timely support.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or equivalent real‑world experience delivering technology solutions.
• 3–5 years of experience in application support, ERP systems, automation and integration.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics ERP or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills.

• API development and integration (REST, SOAP).
• Middleware and integration patterns.
• Automation tools: Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, RPA, scripting.
• Data formats: JSON, XML.
